homli Membership Agreement


This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions of your use  of homli’s services. By signing up for a homli membership, you acknowledge and agree to  the following:

1. Overview of homli Services
homli offers members access to:

  • Initial property condition inspection, with annual checkups

  •  Home maintenance and comfort recommendations

  • A curated network of verified local contractors

  •  Home maintenance hours (depending on membership tier)

  • Preferred scheduling (depending on membership tier)

  • Annual maintenance resources

  • Installation of a homli smart thermostat in the member’s home

  • Mediation services

Services may be updated or expanded at homli’s sole discretion.

3. Registration and Eligibility
You agree to provide accurate and current information. You must be at least 18 years old to join.

Membership is void where prohibited.


4. Privacy and Data Use
Homli values your privacy. Member information is used to coordinate services and connect you with vetted contractors. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy available on our website.

5. Membership Fees and Billing

  • Annual Membership Fee: Based on the selected tier, billed monthly under an annual agreement. Fees are non-transferable.

  • Automatic Renewal: Membership auto-renews each year using your payment method on file. You will be notified of any fee changes.

  • Payment Methods: Major credit and debit cards are accepted. You authorize homli to store and charge your card for future payments.

  • Refund Policy: Full refund if canceled within 30 days of automatic renewal. No refunds after this period unless required by law.
     

6. Canceling Your Membership
You may cancel anytime by:

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 p.m. PST on the business day before your renewal date to avoid renewal charges.


7. Homli Loyalty Policy
Membership Cancellation
Members may cancel their annual membership at any time. Early cancellation incurs a cancellation fee equal to four (4) months of the current monthly membership rate. This fee
will be charged to the payment method on file.

Return of Equipment
If your membership includes a homli Smart Thermostat, the equipment must be returned in good condition within seven (7) business days of cancellation. Failure to return the device will result in a $450 equipment fee.

Refunds
No prorated refunds are issued for the unused portion of the billing cycle upon early cancellation.

Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Policy Changes
homli reserves the right to modify this policy. Material changes will be communicated in writing at least 30 days prior to taking effect.

8. Contractor Payments
homli does not process payments for contractor services. Payments are arranged directly between you and the contractor.

9. Handyman Services
Services under this membership are limited to tasks not exceeding $1,000 per job in combined labor and materials and do not include work requiring permits under California Business and Professions Code § 7048. Additional handyman hours beyond the included amount are billed at $75 per hour.

10. Changes to Agreement
homli may update this Agreement at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email or the member dashboard.

11. Termination of Service
homli may terminate your membership for breach of this Agreement or misuse. If terminated without cause, a prorated refund will be issued.
